Waterwood Golf

The 18-hole Championship "Waterwood National" course features 6,872 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71 . The course rating is 73.7 and it has a slope rating of 142.  Designed by Pete Dye, ASGCA, the Waterwood National golf course opened in 1975.  Up untill 2009 this course was open to the public. However, the owner of the course closed the course to the public in 2009 and anticipates opening it again to the public at a later date. In the interim. the course is PRIVATE, and is for use of the property owners of Waterwood and their guest. The course is being maintained by the residents through voluntary contributions.

The photos below are an attempt to give you an idea of what the course is like. Each hole starts off with a picture of the hole from the tee box.  This is followed by 2-5 pictures of that same hole as the average golfer would progress through the hole, to include a picture of the green.  A great overview of a great course. We have included some panorama shots in order for you to get the feeling of the true beauty of this magnificent course.
